Dear forum-community,
For a research project at my university I want to correlate woman's land titel ownership (Number of women (or men) who own land by whether the land owned has a title or deed:) with their birth planing (number of kids) in Uganda in the period between 1995 and 2001. The "Guide DHS Statistics" says, that there exists a variable v745d (Title deed on land own by respondent (women)) in IR datasets. Unfortunately I can't find this variable in the datasets (UGIR33DT and UGIR41DT). Can anyone help me with this problem? How can I find the variable or was it not collected in Uganda?
I am very thankful for any help in advance.

Following is a response from DHS staff member, Tom Pullum:
I believe the variables you are looking for are v707 in the first survey and v740 in the second one. These are in the IR files. The MR files, for men, include mv707 and mv740. I found them by entering "lookfor land" (in Stata). This command shows any variables that have "land" in the variable label. Such variables might also appear in the household survey (the HR and PR files) but I checked and they are not there. They are only in the IR and MR files.
