Following is a response from DHS staff member, Tom Pullum:

You say you want to look at the effect of education on having a c-section in all SSA countries. In the KR file, in which the cases are children, m17 is the variable that says whether the delivery was by c-section (0=no, 1=yes) and v106 is the mother's level of education. I suggest that you first pick one survey to develop your methods of analysis. Then repeat for other surveys. Let us know if you have specific questions.
