Hi,
I am studying the association between exposure to malaria messages among women 15-49 age group, education level, knowledge of malaria symptoms, and malaria prevalence in children ages 6-59 months in a single-household family in Nigeria. To answer my research questions, I downloaded the NGKR71SV data file for SPSS from the Nigeria Malaria Indicator Survey 2015 and ran the frequency analysis on the variables. The variable frequency output from the NGKR71SV data file does not match the total number of children in Table 6.3.1 NMIS 2015 for the prevalence of malaria in children ages 6-59 months in the table for the national data. The table shows a total number of 5,733 children, but the frequency output from the NGKR71SV data file gave me 300 children, different from the table's total.
The question is: Is there a reason(s) why the data file NGKR71SV does not match the total number the prevalence of malaria in children 6-59 months? Did I use the wrong data file, or how can I get the correct data file to run a representative statistical analysis with the research variables to answer the study questions?
Helebie2.
