I want to merge the Colombian household_member_recode dataset (2010) with macro data on the municipality level, but the variable indicating the muncipality (shmunip) is not labeled. It only shows a discrete value between 1 and 999 without naming the municipality. My question is how can I assign those values to the corresponding municipality names?

This information is not availabe for distribution. You may wish to consult similar topics on our user, for instance: http://userforum.measuredhs.com/index.php?t=msg&th=70&am p;am p;start=0&.

You need to contact the implementing agency. They might be able to send you the labels and codes of the municipalities if they are available for distribution and were stored. The address of the implementing agency is shown in the final report of the survey. The final report can be downloaded from the www.DHSprogram.com website.
