Hi,
I am extracting the number of medical injections (variables v477 and v478) for all countries. I like to compare my results to those reported on STATcompiler to make sure I do not make errors. For the vast majority of countries, I get the exact same results. For a few, there is a mismatch in the number of women I have and the number of women on STATcompiler (ie, mismatch in the denominator). Eg: for BJ2017DHS, the number of women listed on STATcompiler is 7712 (unweighted) whereas by analysing the data, I have 15928. Quite a difference. I checked and it does not seem to be due to age, the date of the interview, residence or marriage status. Other suggestions that could explain this? This is not the only country for which I see a difference.
Many thanks for the advice
