Dear all,

I have been trying to merge the children dataset with the height and weight scores for Ghana 2003 (DHS IV). Unfortunately the ID variable included in the height and weight scores dataset does not allow the merging (this dataset includes the variable HWHHID instead of HWCASEID, as it is supposed to be based on the documentation). From the files' names (GHHW4AFL and GHKR4BFL) the two datasets may refer to different versions.

Any ideas on how I could merge the two datasets?

The height and weight data was collected in Ghana 2003 at the household level. You need to merge the data using HHID rather than CASEID. The second part of the documentation: merge.doc, that's within the downloaded zip file, explains how to merge the data (the documentation is also attached here).
