I am using the latest Indian version (NFHS-5, [2019-21]) of DHS.

To assess the nutritional status of children Zscore-haz is used.

Some studies uses height-for-age difference (HAD) which better reflects the age from where HAD increases or decreases.

**** Therefore kindly suggest the method to calculate the HAD using KR file.

Thanks.

Following is a response from DHS Research & Data Analysis Director, Tom Pullum:

The HAD is not an indicator that DHS uses. I found a reference to it (https:// bmcpediatr.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s12887-015-045 8-9) but we can't help you construct it
