It seems like the variable v626a provided in the data is not correct. As the total unmet need as per that variable is less than 1%. However, when computed using teh DHS syntax, it matches with the value provided in the fact sheet (9.4%). Can anyone please look into it?

Following is response from DHS Research & Data Analysis Director, Tom Pullum:

An error has been found in the construction of v626a. It will be corrected in the next version of the NFHS-5 data files.

Hi,
Could you please give me the DHS syntax (especially for SPSS) for calculating the rate of unmet need. I'm struggling to calculate that rate with my limited knowledge and slow PC. Thanks in advance.
