Dear people of the DHS Forum,
my name is Luis Vidaletti and I am working at International Center for Equity in Health,
I am working on an analysis on ethnicities and, analyzing Ethiopia, I have found the proportions of children belonging to the Oromigna and Tigrigna ethnicities in the 2019 survey strange,
and I was wondering if they hadn't been switched in the datasets, because, seeing the proportions of the other surveys (2000, 2005, 2011 and 2016), the proportion of children of the Oromigna ethnicity have varied around 39% and the proportion of children of the Tigrigna ethnicity have varied around 6.3%,
which seems to be inverted, since the proportion of children of the Oromigna ethnicity in the survey of 2019 is 6.8% and the proportion of children of the Tigrigna ethnicity in the survey of 2019 is 37%, (attached)
If any of you can help me with this issue I would be very grateful,
best regards
Luis Paulo Vidaletti (lpvidaletti@equidade.org)
