Hi,

How do you match the data from IDIR and IDOD for 2002, 2007, 2012, 2017 datasets? I am trying to locate which individual in IDOD is which in the IDIR to get the "first menstruation age" data (e.g ay205 in IDOD6CDT, 2012) but I can't seem to find the instructions to how to match these datasets.
Thank you.

Regards,
Greselva

Following is a response from DHS Research & Data Analysis Director, Tom Pullum:

You need to merge the IR and OD files. The IR and OD codes to match on are v001 and qhcluster for the cluster id, v002 and qhnumber for the household id, and v003 and qline for the line number. These codes also match with the PR file, in which the cluster is hv001, the household is hv002, and the line number is hvidx.
