Hello, I'm working with child files in West Africa. There are a number of codes that appear for variables V113 and V116 that are not specified in the final report (see attached document). Can you give guidance on how these should be treated? If it's a small number of observations, I can see they could be treated as missing, but in some cases, there are hundreds or even thousands of observations. For example, may I assume that the 8,502 observations coded 31 for V116 in NI6 are composting toilets, although that category is not in the questionnaire or final report? For the 4,156 observations in SN6 coded 26, do users assume that is meant to be 25 (traditional latrines according to the Senegal report)? There are related issues with water source, especially code "43". Thank you.

Dear User,
In the zip file(s) you downloaded, there should have been a file with an extension .MAP. It comes along with the data file, dictionary file, documentation file, frequency files (both weighted and unweighted).
For example, ETIR61.ZIP (Ethiopia hierarchical data set used with CSPro)contains:
ETIR61.DAT data file
ETIR61.DCF dictionary file
ETIR61.DOC documentation files (gives list of all country specific variables and details about the data)
ETIR61.FRQ unweighted frequencies
ETIR61.FRW weighted frequencies
ETIR61.MAP the map file
Thanks!
