I am using NFHS 4 women data, I want to calculate the percent distribution of last pregnancies among women age 15-49 during the five years preceding the survey, but I am unable to do it. but it is available in table 6.15 of NFHS 4 India report.

Hello,

You can use our standardized code available at https://github.com/DHSProgram for this table. Specifically you would need the code in the CM_PMR.do file if you are using Stata: https://github.com/DHSProgram/DHS-Indicators-Stata/tree/mast er/Chap08_CM

The same file is also available in SPSS: https://github.com/DHSProgram/DHS-Indicators-SPSS/tree/maste r/Chap08_CM
As well as R: https://github.com/DHSProgram/DHS-Indicators-R/blob/main/Cha p08_CM/CM_PMR.R

Please read the readme file on the main site before running any of this code.

Thank you.
Best,
Shireen Assaf
