For years I have referred to the nations included in the DHS as the developing world. Indeed, this seems to be the language used on the DHS website. Is there a reason why this term is used (vs. Global South). In addition, what is the inclusion criteria for being a "developing" nation in this study? I see some information on USAID aid but this is not for all nations.
