I am working on a project about the effects of maternal education on childhood mortality, using the Cambodia 2014 dataset. I am using a probit model and would like to do an IV probit to see if I can establish causality. I am looking for an appropriate instrument regarding the mothers' background (e.g. mothers' childhood place of residence, education of mother's mother/siblings) but there does not seem to be a lot available. Is there any good suggestion for that? Thank you!
