I want to create household composition of Nuclear and Non-nuclear as in table 2.11 of NFHS-4 and I am using the attached STATA code which I have found in previous DHS Program User Forum discussion but unable to replicate the same value of Nuclear and Non-nuclear. Please help me with solution. Thank You.

Following is a response from DHS Research & Data Analysis Director, Tom Pullum:

I think the problem is just that in the India surveys v024 (region) is part of the unique identifier for each household. If you do not take that into account, you will be combining households that match on v001 and v002 but have different values of v024. Please try again with that change.
