We downloaded Cambodia DHS 2013 to estimate road traffic injury mortality in the country. However, the microdata did not include deceased person's age and sex data. There are tabulated results in the report (report page 31) for these variables.
Individual data: KHPR73FL.DTA -> sh57 death due to accident -> no observation
Household data: KHHR73FL.DTA -> sh57_1 to 3 death due to accident -> if yes, no individual data (such as age, sex, line number, etc.)
Does anyone know how to access the missing variables?

Following is a response from DHS Research & Data Analysis Director, Tom Pullum:
Responses to this type of special question can usually be found in the HR file. I searched the HR file for the 2014 (not 2013) Cambodia survey and found that the relevant variables are sh50 and sh53-sh57. The latter variables are subscripted for up to three such accidents in the household in the past year. If the person is still alive, their line number is given, which means they can be identified, and that's how their age and sex can be determined. If they died, then there is no line number but their place of residence, etc., would come from the household data. That's why the table on page 31 gives age and sex for injuries and not for deaths.
