Dear DHS Colleagues,

UNFPA would like to suggest the inclusion of one question to measure the timing at which girls/women stop attending school. This information would then associated with the time at marriage/union and establish a relationship between child marriage and school participation. The question can be included after Q106 and before the filter of Q107. The details of the question is as follows:

Q106A. When did you stop attending school? In other word in which year and month did you stop ttending school?
1: Still attending school
2: Year
3: Month

We at ICRW would like to support the addition of this question, since the sequence and timing of school drop-out and marriage/union formation is not well-understood.
