Dear Colleagues
I want to ask about DHS, 1989 Kenya. The dataset does not have the Strata variable V022, do you know which variable I could use for strata in this case.

Following is a response from DHS Senior Sampling Specialist, Mahmoud Elkasabi:
According to the description in the final report, the sample is stratified by districts by urban/rural. So I would use the cross-classifications of the following two variables as strata: V102 and sdist.
