Why are there not individuals coded as "not working" in the Congo DR 2007 male dataset? It appears these respondents have been coded as missing.

Dear User, can you provide what it is you are looking at. Are you looking at a table, frequencies, or something else?

It was a simply frequency command in SPSS on measure v714.

the issue is occurring in the male dataset with mv714.
