Identifying observations in same urban area without GPS [message #18370]

I am working on creating a rudimentary measure of "urbanization" for urban areas (using the partner's occupation since that is available across all phases). I could simply do this by PSU, but I would prefer to do it at the city level to get a less noisy measure. Is there a way to identify households that live in the same urban area that I can apply across many countries and phases? I would rather not do 286 surveys by hand ;-).

Hi Claus,

We unfortunately can't reveal the cities that people are in. However the displaced cluster locations are available

Hi Tom,

Thank you for the message. I am only interested in identifying which households live in the same city, not the name of the city or its location. And, since I am trying to do this for all the surveys, I am looking for a method that does not use the GPS data.
