Hello,

I would like to use information on altitude that is contained in the GIS data.

The GPS altitude (ALT_GPS) is missing for most of the xy points in India. I have difficulties to understand ALT_DEM. For those points for which ALT_GPS is available, there is a significant difference between ALT_DEM and ALT_GPS. Is ALT_DEM digitized modeled data using the elevation from the sea level?
