Dear
I am currently doing analysis of Myanmar DHS data (DHS VII) on Family Planning Unmet need and its influencing factors. I would like to have advice for the selection of suitable variable from MMIR71FL data set.
For defining "Unmet Need for Family Planning", which Variable is most suitable among - v624 or v626 or v626A ?
If v624 is suitable variable for Unmet need, as per new definition of Unmet needs (Bradley et al., 2012), is that true for "Spacing failure" and "Limiting failure" to be included in category of "Unmet Need". Similarly, "Using for Spacing" and "Using for limiting" to be included in category of "Met need" ?
For defining "Married women", which Variable is more suitable between v501 and v502 ?
In addition, I would like to know - Which resource materials ( text book, papers, etc...) be useful for learning to analyses by STATA on association between i) proximate determinant factors of unmet need and independent factors of unmet need and ii) proximate determinant factors of unmet need and Unmet needs ?
Thanks for any advice.
regards
Sein Hlaing
