Hi,

I have noticed that some of the zipped Stata files contain other zipped archives themselves. Usually the internal zip archives include the same name as the original file, and some other round. E.g.

File_number filename [ZipContents]
1022 SNBR70DT.ZIP [SNBR6RDT.ZIP, SNBR70DT.ZIP]
1024 SNBR7IDT.ZIP [SNBR7IDT.ZIP, SNBRG0DT.ZIP]
1030 SNCR70DT.ZIP [SNCR6RDT.ZIP, SNCR70DT.ZIP]
1032 SNCR7IDT.ZIP [SNCR7IDT.ZIP, SNCRG0DT.ZIP]
1043 SNHR70DT.ZIP [SNHR6RDT.ZIP, SNHR70DT.ZIP]
1045 SNHR7IDT.ZIP [SNHR7IDT.ZIP, SNHRG0DT.ZIP]
1059 SNIR70DT.ZIP [SNIR6RDT.ZIP, SNIR70DT.ZIP]
1061 SNIR7IDT.ZIP [SNIR7IDT.ZIP, SNIRG0DT.ZIP]
1071 SNKR70DT.ZIP [SNKR6RDT.ZIP, SNKR70DT.ZIP]
1073 SNKR7IDT.ZIP [SNKR7IDT.ZIP, SNKRG0DT.ZIP]
1080 SNMR70DT.ZIP [SNMR6RDT.ZIP, SNMR70DT.ZIP]
1082 SNMR7IDT.ZIP [SNMR7IDT.ZIP, SNMRG0DT.ZIP]
1091 SNPR70DT.ZIP [SNPR6RDT.ZIP, SNPR70DT.ZIP]
1093 SNPR7IDT.ZIP [SNPR7IDT.ZIP, SNPRG0DT.ZIP]

Are these internal archives different from the zipped versions of the other rounds themselves? I.e. is the subfile SNBR6RDT.ZIP included in SNBR70DT.ZIP the same or different from the version in the main file SNBR61DT.ZIP or SNBR6DDT.ZIP? Moreover, which version should one use and consider as the most up-to-date and correct?

Thanks!
