hi guys
I am exploring some data from DHS and I am trying to retrieve the teenage pregnancy data in nine countries and according to the reports, these data are computed for girls in age ranges from 15 to 19. I was wondering why girls from 12 to 14 are not included in this data as teenagers are by definition girls from 12 to 19?
Thanks

Here is a response from Senior DHS Specialist, Tom Pullum:

Here are the links to two reports that DHS staff have prepared on this topic:

https://www.dhsprogram.com/publications/publication-mr23-met hodological-reports.cfm

https://www.dhsprogram.com/publications/publication-cr45-com parative-reports.cfm

Under-15 fertility rates are currently included in the main reports on DHS surveys and are available for all surveys on STATcompiler (https://www.statcompiler.com/en/).
