Dear DHS,
The attachment doesn't provide the water and sanitation questions to comment on. All that appears in the document is what I show in screenshot here.
Could you plead re-upload the existing questions, or confirm that they remain the same as what we see in the most recently-released DHSs? e.g. Guinea 2012?
I, and colleagues at WSP, would be interested especially in the definition of safe child feces disposal - this is perhaps more relevant to tabulation/indicator definition than questionnaires but I post here as well as in other relevant segments of the forum as you seem to be soliciting feedback here. In our understanding, DHS is in the process of changing it's definition of safe child feces disposal so that buried is considered unimproved. This would match the standard MICS tables, as well as UNICEF's current analysis methodology - shown for instance on page 18 of the Pneumonia and Diarrhea 2012 report (http://www.childinfo.org/files/Pneumonia_Diarrhoea_2012.pdf) and new country profiles WSP and UNICEF are developing.
Thanks in advance for re-uploading the questions.
Best,
Elizabeth
