Hi All,

If you are looking for a complete set of STATA code to calculate infant and young children feeding, we'd like to share with the one we develop for one research project based on Myanmar DHS report.

We tested that code with Myanmar Country DHS report and Sample DHS dataset, and it get identical results. We developed those code based on the guidance by DHS fellow from Myanmar and the discussion topics from this DHS forum.

You can go and download the set of stata code in following github link. Please note that, this code was designed based on Myanmar data, some country specific var or value need to adjust accordingly.

Hi Hai R,

It is easy and just go and download the syntex from Github and it will gave you in text file. Then, copy and past all syntex from text file to dofile.

If you can't find it out easily, please take the one from this reply attached file.

Hi Nicolas,

Many thanks, I have replicated your syntax. My EBF has come close to DHS report (0.04% difference), but not successful for other IYCF indicators.

Sorry for that and I am afraid to say why it is not perfect matched. We tried it with Myanmar dataset and Sample datset, it is working well.

I think it is good to check with the DHS specialist for those indicators not matched.
