Suggested revision: Revise the definition of the fertile window (period when woman is more likely to
become pregnant) in question 240.

Rationale: Knowledge of the fertile window and pregnancy risk perceptions are critical to the correct
use of family planning methods. The current response option 4 is imprecise and may
lead to misattribution of knowledge of the fertile window and may undermine
subsequent analysis or conclusions about family planning use associated with question
240.

Specific change: We suggest revising response option 4 to "several days hallway between two
periods".
