The blood sample collection technique by capillary method is giving different result than the venous blood collection method by syringe. Countries are facing challenge when they have to compare National Micronutrient Status Survey Report result with the Demographic Health Survey Report. I wonder if it is possible to harmonize the approach of anemia testing using the gold standard method. Otherwise, there is need to suggest a correction factor to convert the result from one survey to another survey.
