Hello,
I am stuck in a rut, I am trying to create the following in STATA using the 2014 KDHS. Please may you kindly share the STATA codes, I would greatly appreciate it.
1) Percent of women, ages 20-24 who have given birth before age 18
2) Median age at first marriage/union (Table 4.4, page 59 on the 2014 Kenyan DHS final report).
3) Median age at first sex (Table 4.6, page 61; 2014 KDHS).
Also I wanted to compute for #2 and #3 for 15-19 year olds only. Is this possible using the life-table approach? As in the DHS reports for this age group is not possible since less than 50% of the adolescents had this event occur. (I am not sure if DHS uses the life- table approach to calculate median age, sexual debut). Please advice.
