I'm currently conducting a study in SADC countries, assessing inequalities in use of ANC by socioeconomic status.

I'm currently having difficulty with computing Concentration Curves and Concentration Indices using DHS data. I'm using STATA 15. Your assistance in this is highly appreciated.

What stata command should I compute to successfully do this?

Following is a response from DHS Technical Specialist, Shireen Assaf:

This was the command used in a recent report published that included the concentration index. This used the erreygers correction and took into account the cluster and sample weight. The indicator is a binary indicator and the rank variable used here is the wealth index. Please see the methods section of this report for more details.

gen wt=v005/1000000
conindex indicator [pw=wt], rankvar(v190) bounded limits(0 1) erreygers cluster(v001)
