Dear forum members,

For a personal study I need a variable on subjective health status of participants. Is there any DHS survey that collected data on subjective health yet?

Dear User, A response from Senior Data Processing Expert, Mr. Guillermo Rojas:
Quote:

The DHSs in Colombia 2005, 2010 and 2015 included question about personal perception of health. The information was collected as part of the household schedule and therefore can be found in the persons (PR) files. Variables SH40, SH41 and SH51 for 2005, 2010 and 2015 respectively have that information. It is possible that other surveys may have included the same type of variables, but it will require a thorough research.

Can you let us know specifically what type of questions you are looking at? Thank you!
