Hello,
I am conducting secondary data analysis on the social-ecological predictors of contraceptive use in Ethiopia using EDHS 2016 dataset. My university requires IRB approval/ documentation of data release. I am trying to locate DHS IRB approval documentation or data release agreement file.

I am planning to use EDHS 2016 Dataset for my dissertation. I have to complete an IRB form that includes the following choice. Which one is appropriate for DHS dataset A or B? Thanks.


A. My dataset does not require a data release agreement because the dataset is already available to the public
B. A Data Use Agreement
(appropriate when the researcher had nothing to do with the site's original creation of the data)
