Dear User, each dataset usually has a Word document describing the datasets. This document has a list of the survey specific variables. They can also be found in the frequencies and map documents. In most cases, country/survey specific variables begin with the letter 'S'. The will usually follow the question number in the questionnaires.
For example:
QH305 = SH405 (HH)
Q503 = S503 (individual woman)
QM401 = SM401 (individual man)
