I'm working on TDHS 2005, 2010 and 2015 SPSS birth file.
i want to create a variable infant mortality and child mortality, what do i need to do? Since I want to be able to extract two dataset using select cases ( case 1: infant and case 2: child mortality). Kindly please assist.

Unfortunately, we do not have SPSS code for Infant and Child Mortality. Please reference the Guide to DHS Statistics for a description of the calculation of mortality estimates in DHS surveys: https://www.dhsprogram.com/pubs/pdf/DHSG1/Guide_to_DHS_Stati stics_DHS-7.pdf.
