Good day,

My name is Keolebogile Selebano and I'm a Master of Public Health candidate majoring in Health Economics at the University of Cape Town.

Last year I requested permission from the DHS program to use the Southern African Development Community countries (SADC) DATA for my study, for which I was immediately granted. This year I submitted to the ethics committee in my faculty and wasn't granted approval because I'm being told I need to receive permission from ALL SADC countries I'm looking to continue with my study.

Is it possible to receive a formal letter from your side stating the ethical use of this DATA without necessarily having to contact ALL the respective SADC countries? How can you advice?

I truly appreciate the help
