I am trying to calculate and test my results in calculating fertility desire by number of living children ( table 5.1) in DHS 2014 using weight , but the result is different. the calculated total 15-49 is 21762 while in DHS is 20460 . the percentage in each number of living children is different.

Please guide me how to calculate it using STATA or SPSS

Dear User, which dataset(s) are you analyzing? We have a newly updated Guide to DHS Statistics. This resource is fully searchable. After reviewing, if you still need assistance, please feel free to post again. Thank you!
