	| As a new user, you may find IPUMS DHS easier to use. You can use your DHS email and password to log in. 
 Click on WOMEN as your unit of analysis. Those data correspond to the IR file, but also have all the household variables attached. Select the sample Bangladesh 2014. Then you can browse the variables by topic in the drop-down menu.
 
 Each variable name is a link. Click on it to get more information on the variable.
 
 To answer your specific question, the $ in the original DHS data indicates the same question being asked regarding multiple children, for example, their dates of birth. You can select information for a woman's most recent birth or for all of her births when you use IPUMS DHS.
