Seeking guidance for approval from ethics board for NFHS data [message #14632]

I have registered as a DHS data user (NFHS data- India].As I am preparing my manuscript for publication I had a few queries:

1. NFHS -4 report explicitly mentions about ethics approval. I could not find any such statement in NFHS 3 report. From where can I get a reference for approval from the ethics committee for NFHS-3.

2. NFHS data are anonymous without any identifiers. Hence I am assuming we wont require anymore ethics approval for reanalysis of the NFHS-4 data. Is my assumption right?
