I´m using stata and would like to drop dwellings with multiple families.

Here is a response to a similar posting, from DHS Data Processing Specialist, Noureddine Abderrahim

HV101 gives the relationship to the head of household. However, different adults may have children as defined in HV112 and HV113. These adults and their children may constitute families of their own. You need to define what is a family and use that information to check whether the household is a single family household or a multiple family household.
