In September 2013, the seventh round of the Demographic and Health Surveys was awarded to ICF International and partners. The new project is called The Demographic and Health Surveys Program, or The DHS Program. Formerly known as MEASURE DHS, the new project has a new name, The Demographic and Health Surveys Program or The DHS Program. The DHS Program will continue the same high standards of data collection, analysis, dissemination, and capacity strengthening which have been the hallmarks of this project since its inception in 1984.

The DHS Program welcomes the continued partnership with Blue Raster, The Futures Institute, The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health Center for Communication Programs (JHUCCP), PATH, and Vysnova, along with two new partner organizations--EnCompass and Kimetrica.

As of March 2014, The DHS Program URL will be www.dhsprogram.com and all DHS tools will reflect the new project name. The old URLs and names will continue to work.
