For 2013-2014 Malawi SPA:
- Sampling of facilities: The 2013-14 MSPA was designed to be a census of all formal-sector health facilities in Malawi. Master Facility List of 1,060 such facilities, 997 facilities were successfully surveyed = (92%)
- Sampling of observed normal delivery clients: Total number of normal delivery clients present on the day of the assessment (476), Actual number of normal delivery clients observed (474) = (100%)
For Kenya 2010 SPA:
- Sampling of facilities: The 2010 KSPA was designed to be a sample of formal-sector health facilities in Kenya. Master Facility List of 6,192, 703 facilities were selected for 2010 KSPA and 695 facilities were successfully surveyed (99%)
- Sampling of observed normal delivery clients: Total number of normal delivery clients present on the day of the assessment (946), Actual number of normal delivery clients observed (626) = (66%)
