I am working on childhood diarrhea. Source of drinking water (v113) and types of toilet facility (v116) are part of my explanatory variables. For the variables v113 and v116 there are some responses from "not a dejure resident (97=not a dejure resident)". Would you recommend treating these responses as missing.

Hi,

In my research, I either delete these row or treat them as missing value. It depends on "your model".
But I prefer to delete it because the number of data is very low compare to all data sets that I have.
But if, let say, "your model" can also estimate these value by calibrating known data, may be you can treat them as missing value. hope this helps. :)
