Can anyone comment on why I get different counts for women in the Birth File, than in the Individual File?
I am assuming this is because the Birth file has women listed multiple times because of multiple births? Can anyone confirm?
I am using the files for Afghanistan 2015, and I am talking about the differences in afir70sv and afbr70sv.
Thank you,
RPP

Thank you very much for your Detailed response!
If I may inquire, to more questions.
In the same survey AFIR, the recode manual does not mention the S414 vairables. I believe these are being asked as to whether the woman had any knowledge of the said condition, based on an antenatal/prenatal visit (such as knowledge of symptoms of vaginal bleeding means she should seek medical attention), is that an accurate assumption?
Secondly, there is no issue with me combining the antenatal visits by provider, into one vartiable, such as "any antenatal visit," to show that the respondent had an antenatal visit.
Thank you
