Regarding the sample size determination in Nigeria MIS survey, as in most of the MIS surveys, we do not base the sample calculations on a single indicator. The DHS's policy is to guarantee, for the majority of the key indicators, a 5%-10% relative standard error at national level, and a 10%-20% of relative standard error at domain level. In case of the 2015 NMIS as indicated in Appendix B where the sampling errors for the key indicators are estimated, the relative standard errors for the key indicators are within the expected levels, either on the national level or regional level. This applies for both the LLIN coverage and for the Malaria prevalence.
