Dear all,
I write on a special topic related to the calculation of the mortality of children.I noticed 2 technical comments on the child mortality estimation from the SPSS program.
-First, there are troncature for the 0 segment in the file tmp2 (deaths) and exposd12 (exposure), then in principle of the CMC based on the months of age, this age interval can't go through a period;
-Then, the principle of exclusion at the limit of the periods is not uniform given that the segments are unequal in length. These observations are noted in more detail in the attached file.
Thanks in advance for returning me your comments and observations.
