Hi,

I am using the Nigeria MIS 2015 and Ghana DHS 2014 data sets for my analyses on the factors affecting ITN use, and I had questions on creating a variable for maternal education.

In the Ghana DHS PR file, the variables hc61 and hc68 are the variables on maternal education but a significant amount of data seems to be missing. The variables have values only for 2,947 mothers.
On the other hand, in the IR file, variable v106 has information on women's education on 9,396 women.

Should I merge the women's education variable from the IR file to the PR file to create a new variable for maternal education?

Thanks
