I am using the 2011 Ethiopia DHS, specifically the women's individual recode dataset. I wanted to create a variable for intimate partner violence using the variables in the domestic violence record. However, none of those variables were in the IR dataset. I was wondering if you could help me with this issue.

The Domestic Violence module was not used in this survey, but there are a few questions on "beating justified". Please look for the V744? series variables.

The questionnaires are in the appendix of the final report.
