I am interested in the distance of households to the closest health facility (preferably to dispensary). I am aware that the information is self reported and I am fine with that (even though if there is other precise estimations that would be great).
My problem is that i'm not sure how to find distance to closest health facility in a few data-sets. Here is what I have:
For 2010 I used the sh120 variable from the HR data type.
For 2007 I used sh119 from the HR data type
For 1991 I used the min(c203, d203, e203) from the SQ data type.
When I try to plot the distance of households to the nearest health facility I get an increase for a lot of clusters. This does not make sense given the reform that took place in Tanzania around that time.
For other data-sets (1996, 1999, 2004, 2005, 2012) I just can't find a variable that will specify the distance.
It will be great if you can help me with that, my project is stuck and i'm pretty sure these measure exist somewhere (based on the fact it was asked in a wide variety of the years)

Dear User,
Quote:
For other data-sets (1996, 1999, 2004, 2005, 2012) I just can't find a variable that will specify the distance.
These variables are country specific. In the Tanzania HIV-AIDS and Malaria Indicator 2011-12 survey the question in the questionnaire is QH123, in the data as country-specific variable SH123.
If they are not in the 1996, 1999, 2004, 2005 datasets, it's because the question was not asked, so the data does not exist.
Hope this helps.
Thank you.
