Hello
I am working on Under 5 Mortality for Nepal. I need to calculate date of birth for the children. The problem is:
dates are in Nepali Calendar. can anybody please guide me how to convert them to exact English calendar dates in SPSS

There is a description of Century Month Codes and how to use them in the DHS Standard Recode Manual http:// www.dhsprogram.com/publications/publication-dhsg4-dhs-questi onnaires-and-manuals.cfm beginning on Page 5.
