Hello,
I am trying to download mobile phone ownership data, and I need to match the data to the location by which they were collected. However, when I try to download the mobile phone ownership data from the spatial data repository, it is not matched to any GPS data. How can I access GPS data for each group of surveys matched to mobile phone data?

Hello Eric,
Thank you for your question. The Spatial Data Repository is a quick way of browsing key indicator data for the countries in which we work and visualizing them online without the use of a GIS software. As a result, the specific data you are looking for may not be available on SDR if it is not one of the standard indicators we provide on the service.
The geographic and indicator data you are seeking can be found on our data download page (http://dhsprogram.com/data/available-datasets.cfm). Scroll down to the country of interest and, if GPS data is available for the particular survey you are looking for, click the "Data Available" link. This will take you to a summary page detailing the different types of data files available for this survey, with a text box in yellow at the top of the page which has links to register or log into your account and download the files. This will allow you to request GPS data for download, which we can then approve (please note that it takes 1-2 business days for this approval process).
Hopefully this helps you to find the data you are looking for and with your work.
